Addressing Counterproductive Employee Behavior: The Role of Distributive Justice, Work Stress, and Job Satisfaction

Abstract

This study aims to explain the influence of distributive justice, work stress, and job satisfaction on counterproductive work behaviour among employees at PT. Bintang Toedjoe Padang Branch. The data collection method used in this research involved directly distributing questionnaires to the respondents. The subjects of this study were all employees of PT. Bintang Toedjoe Padang Branch, totalling 83 individuals, with the help of SPSS for analysis. Based on the results of the analysis, it was found that work stress has a positive effect on counterproductive work behaviour, job satisfaction has a positive effect on counterproductive work behaviour, and distributive justice has a negative effect on counterproductive work behaviour.
