Abstract

The global push for sustainable development is increasingly shaped by technological innovations that enhance efficiency and promote sustainable practices across various sectors. Society 5.0, introduced by Japan, offers a transformative vision where the digital and physical worlds converge, advancing human-centered technological innovations. This paper explores how Society 5.0 can foster sustainable development through the integration of advanced technologies, such as AI, IoT, and smart city models. These innovations play a critical role in addressing complex societal challenges like urbanization, environmental sustainability, and economic inequality. Case studies from sectors such as healthcare, energy, and urban planning demonstrate the potential of these technologies in achieving Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
