Abstract

Fintech development has gained appeal as a means to boost financial inclusion for micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) in the Sleman District. With MSMEs growing in importance in the local economy, fintech has the potential to provide access to financial services that were previously inaccessible to them. It has the potential to boost economic growth and empower entrepreneurs in the region. This research uses both qualitative and quantitative approaches. We apply a qualitative approach to data collection methods by distributing questionnaires to MSMEs and fintech actors. We used 410 MSMEs as respondents in this study. The double linear regression analysis method employs a quantitative approach. What this study found is that independent variables like fintech market aggregators, fintech payments, settlements, and clearing, as well as fintech risk management and investment, all have a positive and significant effect on the financial inclusion of MSMEs in the Sleman Regency in 2023.
