Abstract

This study aims to measure the impact of the School-Age Youth Guidance Program (BRUS) on adolescents' perceptions of early marriage in Sukabumi Regency. It also aims to improve the program's effectiveness in raising adolescents' awareness of the negative impacts of early marriage and the importance of ensuring marriage until they are physically, emotionally, and financially ready. The research method used was a quantitative approach with a Correlational design. The study population was adolescents aged 11–19 who had participated in the BRUS program, with a sample size of 100 respondents. Data were collected using a questionnaire containing questions related to adolescents' knowledge and perceptions of early marriage before and after participating in the program. Data analysis was conducted using Correlation statistics and regression tests to measure the relationship between program effectiveness and changes in adolescents' perceptions. The results showed that the BRUS Program had a significant impact on adolescents' perceptions of early marriage, with an effect of 68.8%. This program proved effective in raising adolescents' awareness of the negative impacts of early marriage, despite challenges in reaching all adolescents and ensuring equitable understanding.
