Integrating physics learning with local wisdom can strengthen the understanding of concepts well and support efforts to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in the aspect of quality education in 2030. These efforts are often constrained by the classroom implementation time, especially in the form of contextual investigations using Student Worksheets (LKPD). This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of using LKPD physics co-curricular activities based on local wisdom by A'bulo Sibatang on higher-order thinking Skills (HOTS) and student collaboration skills. This study uses a mixed method of Explanatory Sequential type. The quantitative method used a pre-experimental one-group pretest-posttest design to measure changes in students' HOTS ability, and the qualitative method used an ethnomethodological approach based on the results of observation using LKPD to measure students' collaboration skills. The study's results showed the effectiveness of the use of LKPD physics co-curricular activities based on the local wisdom of A'bulo Sibatang on the HOTS ability of students who had a significance of 0.001 or less than 0.05. Meanwhile, students' collaboration skills showed positive changes according to observer assessments during LKPD physics co-curricular activities based on local wisdom A'bulo Sibatang. This study concludes that the LKPD physics co-curricular activities based on the local wisdom of A'bulo Sibatang are effectively used on HOTS abilities and students' collaboration skills. This research also contributes to achieving quality education in Indonesia by integrating A'bulo Sibatang culture into physics learning.
