Ambidextrous leadership has emerged as the imperative concept against the dual demands of exploration and exploitation in dynamic and competitive organizational settings. This sort of leadership emphasizes the potential to foster innovation while gaining operational efficiency, enabling organizations to adapt to fast-changing conditions. This study synthesizes the findings of recent academic studies using SLR methodology, starting with 2019 up to 2024. Out of 118 articles from major academic databases, an initial pool of articles were subjected to a careful screening process with the help of predefined inclusion and exclusion criteria. As such, 24 articles went into the depth of analysis. The results suggest that ambidextrous leadership provides huge scope for organizational success because of the balanced conduct that exists between exploratory activities and exploitative activities in the realms of process optimization and resource efficiency. Some key dimensions, related to dynamic switching between exploration and exploitation, were assessed as central to the nature of its effectiveness. Finally, it identifies practical uses that ambidextrous leadership could have among a wide array of technological, healthcare, and manufacturing contexts. This paper concludes by recommending further areas of research in terms of improving the theoretical approach surrounding ambidextrous leadership across various organizational contexts.
