Artificial Intelligence (AI) is rapidly evolving and changing the decision-making landscape in various sectors. This research examines how AI-based information systems can bridge the gap between human intuition and data-driven insights. Using thematic analysis of the literature as well as real-life case studies in finance, healthcare, and government, this research identifies key patterns in the integration of machine learning models and predictive analytics into organizational decision-making processes. The results show that human and AI collaboration, supported by a strong governance and ethical framework, results in more accurate, inclusive, and ethical decisions than relying on humans or AI alone. The main contribution of this study is to highlight the importance of technical, psychological, and organizational dimensions in building effective human-AI partnerships. Practical recommendations are also put forward for a trusted, transparent, and accountable AI adoption strategy, so as to address the challenges of trust, transparency, and fairness in the digital age.
