Relocation of Street Vendors: A Socio-Economic Review In Digital Transformation And Sustainable Development

This research aims to analyze the impact of street vendor relocation in the context of digital transformation and sustainable development. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, this research collected data from literature studies related to relocation policies, economic and social impacts, as well as the use of technology in improving traders' competitiveness. The findings show that relocation can lead to decreased income and business instability. However, relocation also offers positive opportunities, including increased security and accessibility to digital technology. Taking into account the factors that influence the success of relocation, this study recommends the need for government policy evaluation and the development of training programs to improve traders' skills. The results of this study are expected to provide insights for policy makers in formulating more inclusive strategies to support street vendors in the digital era.
